Information and Advice
The Information and Advice Service is available
to all older people, their family, friends, carers and those who
represent them across Cheshire. Our fully trained Information Officers
are here to help you with any related enquiry you may have.
We are available to take your calls at any of
the information offices listed below and you can also visit our
Information Centres or Outreach Information points in person.

When you contact our Information Service you can be assured of a
professional, caring and confidential service regulated by the Community
Legal Service Quality Mark.
Our Information Service is based on a series of
comprehensive factsheets covering the
key areas of Income and Benefits, Consumer, Health, Community Care,
Housing, Leisure / Learning and Work.
These sheets are designed to provide:-
- Practical information for those older people
who wish to help themselves
- A definitive guide for those whose work helps
older people
They are available free of charge and a number
of them are updated to coincide with the current financial year
and all are regularly updated and checked for accuracy.
We also have a wide range of Specialist
Information Sheets and New
Information Guides on such topics as retiring abroad, making
a living will or instructions for your next of kin forms. These
specialist information sheets are also available free of charge
to anyone who requests them.
We can also provide you with up to date local
information of services and help available to older people. |
